With all the snowmen now melted, is your little one missing the snow?
Here’s a lovely idea to help your little one to explore their experience of winter by creating a winter sensory play tray! Simply gather things linked to a wintry theme: snow white objects, blue bits and bobs, shiny things. If you have some ice cubes add them to the play tray and watch as your little one explores all the objects.
This is a wonderful opportunity to use new vocabulary as your little one talks about what they see, smell, feel, hear and taste.
Have fun bringing the outside in!
