Fabulous Feet

Hello Everybody!   Today, on your walk with your little one, why not talk about different ways of using your feet?  You could take great big giant strides or tiny little pigeon steps.  You could leap, hop, skip, twirl or even jog, if you’re feeling energetic!   Then, when you return home, why not try a bit of foot maths?   Remove your shoes, find some pieces of paper or cardboard and a pen, and encourage your little one to carefully draw around the outline of your feet, their feet and even Teddy’s or Dolly’s feet?    Help your little one to carefully cut the pairs of feet out, muddle them up and then encourage them to match the feet back together to make pairs.

Can your little one tell you whose feet are biggest or smallest?

Can they arrange the feet in order from smallest to largest or largest to smallest?
