We had some very creative little people at the setting last week. Scribing stories, using their own drawn letters and pictures. They then tell an adult a story from the pictures either after or whilst they are drawing which the adult writes down. Children are also encouraged to attempt ‘writing’ marks of their own.
Our first budding storyteller was re-telling the story of The Three Little Pigs, with straw, stick and brick houses. “The wolf tries to blow the brick house down, but he can’t”
The second storyteller creatively made up a story about friendship, “These are best friends and they fall down the hole and land in the river”
We thought that the brilliant storytelling and amazing pictures that were drawn were so good we wanted to share them with you.
